With Dynamic Emails, this does not happen. In the latest development regarding this, the technology giant has announced that it will start rolling out support for these to all Gmail and G Suite users starting July 2. As of now, the feature is only available in beta to some users. With Dynamic Emails, companies will be allowed to add interactive content inside their emails and let users perform various actions within Gmail itself. These include RSVP for events and filling out forms among other tasks. With this feature, people who use Google Docs will also be able to see comments that have been posted on the document in Gmail directly, instead of getting separate email alerts. According to the company, as of now, the feature is only available on Gmail for Web. The support for Dynamic Emails on mobile will also be coming soon. It is also worth adding that companies like Booking.com and Pinterest have already signed up to offer Dynamic Emails. While Booking.com will be able to notify its users about their hotel reservations and let users navigate within the email itself, Pinterest will enable people to save various ideas to their boards inside Gmail. As of now, emails from both redirect us to their respective websites. We should mention that till now, G Suite admins had to enable the feature for their users. However, starting July 2, 2019, Dynamic Emails will be enabled for all users by default. But then, we should also add that G Suite admins will also have the option of disabling it.
It is worth adding that for now, AMP email or Dynamic emails are supported on the desktop versions of Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari Web browsers. The company has said that the feature will soon make it to Android and iOS versions of the Gmail app too. In another news, Gmail app now has over 5 billion downloads on Play Store. It is worth noticing that this comes after Inbox by Gmail service closed down, which means a lot of users had to migrate to Gmail. Other apps from Google that have achieved the same number include YouTube, Google Maps, and Google Search.
